As Friedrich Nietzsche, the celebrated German philosopher has rightfully said, "What else is love but understanding and rejoicing in the fact that another person lives acts and experiences otherwise than we do?”, Stephanie & Rohin stuck a chord with us particularly thanks to their immaculate wedding planning that acted as a perfect amalgamation of both their cultures in a single wedding ceremony. Stephanie and Rohin’s haldi commenced with an announcement of the significance of Haldi ritual in the Hindu culture and how everyone should shower their blessings and love for the soon-to-be married couple by applying a paste of turmeric with flowers on them. Stepahnie’s parents could not contain their joy and excitement as they saw her sit next to Rohin waiting for the ritual to begin. The mehendi ceremony was a vibrant blend of the application of Henna and dance moves on the floor. Stephanie showcased her love for Indian food as she got herself a plate of Pav bhaji and explained to her friends what the dish was. Guests indulged in exploring the colorful state of Rajasthan through bangles and dupattas.
